Terms of Service

Thank you for your interest in commissioning me!By commissioning me, you agree to all of the following terms:OWNERSHIP
- I retain the rights to the artwork/commission, granting only a usage license to clients. Exceptions or additions to the license is negotiable on a case-by-case basis.
- Clients may post their commissions to their own websites/social media and use them for profile photos, but must be sure to credit and link back to my profile or @riceupancakes on twt/ig.
- I reserve the tight to stream/record the art making process and post the final commission to my social media for any reason (such as self-marketing). If the commission is a gift or a surprise, please let me know and I will postpone sharing it.
- Clients may print their commission for personal use, but may NOT reprint the commission for profit nor sell them as NFTs.
- Clients may crop/resize and make minor edits (such as adding a filter) to their final commissions, but may NOT use it as a base for their own artwork/edits
- If a client desires to re-sell their commission for any reason, the cost must be lower than that of the original commission so no profit is made from my work
- Companies may NOT use my artworks for any AI training system for training purposes.

PAYMENT
- Final commission prices will be discussed with the commissioner and invoices will be sent once agreed upon over email or DM.
- Half payment is required upfront. For higher value commissions or special circumstances, a payment schedule may be negotiated.

PROCESS/OTHER
- Revisions: Quantity and extent of revisions may vary per commission style and on a case-by-case basis. As a general rule, minor revisions (adjusting hair color, fixing scar placements, etc) are available throughout the process at my discretion. Major revisions (such as changing the pose or composition elements) are only negotiable twice during the sketching process. Any subsequent revisions will incur a fee relative to the progress made and effort needed to implement it.
- Progress Updates: I will send the commissioner updates at the sketch, flat color and basic shading stages of working through the commission. A client may request that I refrain from giving updates at any given time, but any final designs made will be final.
- I maintain the right to turn down any commission for any reason.
